YOUTH SEMINAR ORGANIZED BY THE SƐTƆGBE Ɔ NYA NUKƆN ASSOCIATION IN
PARTNERSHIP WITH WYCLIFFE BENIN.
The Sɛtɔgbe ɔ nyɑ nukɔn
Association organized this Saturday, August 24 in the meeting room of the
Aglôgbè district (ADJARRA) a major seminar with the topic: "youth and marriage" for the young people of the Sɛtɔ
community. A moment of sharing between the main Communicator and the
participants.
The objective of this seminar is
to equip the young people of the Sɛtɔ community on the ins and outs of
marriage.
After the official launch chaired
by the president of the association Pierre SOUNOUVOU, the missionary Yvon
KOHUNFO has facilitated this topic with eighty-nine (89) young people. With
specific examples and in language adapted to the target, the main communicator
highlighted the objective that God was pursuing in initiating marriage between
man and woman.
A rich and edifying communication
that transported the participants who, through their questions, wanted to know
more.
This activity ended with a family
photo.
The headquarters of Wycliffe Benin served as a setting on September 7 for the cultural evening of the different communities. This activity is part of the 20 years aniversary of the institution which promotes mother tongues. Various activities were on the menu for this exceptional evening.
All the Wycliffe communities massively made the trip for this evening initiated to celebrate culture. At the beginning, Justin CODJO presented the different communities with which the missionary institution works with. After this, it gave way for nearly four hours to the different performances. Songs, Tales, Proverbs, traditionnel danse Massègohoun in Setto community, Agbadja, Sketch, Testimony, Poem, constitute among others the different sections of this cultural evening.
The surprise of this cultural evening was the performance of deaf and hard of hearing people. A performance that amazed the audience.
