ECHOES OF THE 20 YEARS OF WYCLIFFE BENIN: THE WYCLIFFE COMMUNITIES IN A CULTURAL EVENING The headquarters of Wycliffe Benin served as a setting on September 7 for the cultural evening of the different communities. This activity is part of the 20 years aniversary of the institution which promotes mother tongues. Various activities were on the menu for this exceptional evening. All the Wycliffe communities massively made the trip for this evening initiated to celebrate culture. At the beginning, Justin CODJO presented the different communities with which the missionary institution works with. After this, it gave way for nearly four hours to the different performances. Songs, Tales, Proverbs, traditionnel danse Massègohoun in Setto community, Agbadja, Sketch, Testimony, Poem, constitute among others the different sections of this cultural evening.   COMMUNITY LIFE : YOUTH SEMINAR ORGANIZED BY THE SƐTƆGBE Ɔ NYA NUKƆN ASSOCIATION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WYCLIFFE BENIN . The Sɛtɔgbe ɔ nyɑ nukɔn Association organized this Saturday, August 24 in the meeting room of the Aglôgbè district (ADJARRA) a major seminar with the topic: "youth and marriage " for the young people of the Sɛtɔ community. A moment of sharing between the main Communicator and the participants. The objective of this seminar is to equip the young people of the Sɛtɔ community on the ins and outs of marriage. After the official launch chaired by the president of the association Pierre SOUNOUVOU, the missionary Yvon KOHUNFO has facilitated this topic with eighty-nine (89) young people. With specific examples and in language adapted to the target, the main communicator highlighted the objective that God was pursuing in initiating marriage between man and woman.                                               Dernières nouvelles de la mission  Avril 2023 (french version) Projet de la Bible en langue des signes (Projet Alogbe) Le Projet Alogbe est une initiative de Wycliffe Benin en faveur des sourds, muets et malentendants.  Nous bénissons le Seigneur qui  nous a aidé à boucler la phase de vision sharing, première phase du projet. Durant cette phase, nous avons entre autres organisé un diagnostic participatif au niveau de 3 zones à savoir, Abomey-Calavi, Bohicon et Parakou. Cette activité a impliqué les  sourds, muets et malentendants, les acteurs du monde des  sourds, muets et malentendants puis les leaders d'églises. Avec l'outil FFOM, le diagnostic a révélé plusieurs faiblesses et menaces contre les s ourds, muets et malentendants.   La phase II doit nous permettre d'organiser un atelier de mobil...

  Dans le but d'atteindre tous les peuples non atteints par l'évangile au Benin, Wycliffe Benin s'engage à œuvrer pour le salut et la transformation de la communauté des sourds et malentendants au Bénin. Depuis février 2023, nous, missionnaire Yvon KOHUNFO avons la responsabilité de démarrer ce projet à travers le partage de vision (rechercher cette cible sur toute l'étendue du territoire national, les organiser pour leur appropriation à ce projet), la facilitation de l'atelier de mobilisation, le recrutement des traducteurs sourds et malentendants, etc. Nous avons organisé le Pays en 5 zones pour mieux toucher cette communauté.  Après la rencontre des sourds, malentendants et leaders d'église de la zone 1 (Cotonou-Abomey Calavi), nous serons à Parakou (Zone 4 ) pour le même  exercice le 30 mars  prochain.  Enfin, on sera à Bohicon (Zone 3) pour le même exercice.  Union en prière.
