Projet de la Bible en langue des signes (Projet Alogbe)

Le Projet Alogbe est une initiative de Wycliffe Benin en faveur des sourds, muets et malentendants. Nous bénissons le Seigneur qui  nous a aidé à boucler la phase de vision sharing, première phase du projet. Durant cette phase, nous avons entre autres organisé un diagnostic participatif au niveau de 3 zones à savoir, Abomey-Calavi, Bohicon et Parakou. Cette activité a impliqué les sourds, muets et malentendants, les acteurs du monde des sourds, muets et malentendants puis les leaders d'églises. Avec l'outil FFOM, le diagnostic a révélé plusieurs faiblesses et menaces contre les sourds, muets et malentendants.  La phase II doit nous permettre d'organiser un atelier de mobilisation communautaire, un atelier de formation en langue des signes, le recrutement des traducteurs.

Gouvernance des Associations

Durant ce mois d'avril, nous avons renforcé les capacités de 6 associations (CI, WACI, SETTO, MAXI, XWLA, XWELA ) en gouvernance, en vie associative et faciliter la réalisation de la Planification Annuelle de chacune de ses Associations. Bénissons le Seigneur ! Nous devons faire de même pour les autres associations d'ici à là. Union en prière.

Responsabilités administratives 

Nous bénissons le Seigneur qui nous a aidé à réaliser la séance de validation des rapports trimestriels Janvier à mars 2023 de tous les départements de Wycliffe Benin suivie de la validation de la Planification Trimestrielle avril à Juin aussi de chaque département. 

Action de grâce Requêtes de prière:

Nous bénissons le Seigneur pour le soutien dan faille dans le ministère. Grâce à sa fidélité, nous sommes encore debout, moi et ma famille.  Gloire à Dieu.

Prier pour la santé de Asael. Il fait des crises d'asme ses derniers temps. 

Prier pour les problèmes d'yeux de Shegoun, mon épouse et moi même

Prier pour Asael qui doit subir une intervention chirurgicale

Prier pour le ministère, que le Seigneur continue de nous orienter et que nous puissions voir chaque jour les fruits du ministère 

Prier pour Shegoun qui va au BAC C cette année scolaire. Les résultats ne sont pas encore encourageants mais nous savons que Dieu est capable. 

Prier pour la gestion des enfants surtout les adolescentes

Prier pour Hasana afin qu'elle fasse mieux dans les évaluations de son département à l'Université. 

Prier pour que Dieu nous donne une nouvelle voiture pour la mission. En effet, nous avons vendu la HIGHLANDER acquise en Juillet 2022, car, on s'est rendu compte que c'était un mauvais choix qu'on avait fait.  Trop de dépenses de réparations, etc...

Prier pour le projet ALOBE, les prochains ateliers 

Prier pour le projet Mobilisation du Nord (réussite de l'implémentation et de l'appropriation par les communautés des langues Nateni, M'Belmè, Biali.

Prier pour le démarrage prochain de la mobilisation Communautaire dans 8 nouvelles communautés au Bénin

Sign Language Bible Project (Alogbe Project)

The Alogbe Project is an initiative of Wycliffe Benin in favor of the deaf, mute and hard of hearing. We bless the Lord who helped us complete the vision sharing phase, the first phase of the project. During this phase, we organized, among other things, a participatory diagnosis in 3 areas, namely Abomey-Calavi, Bohicon and Parakou. This activity involved the deaf, dumb and hard of hearing, the actors of the world of the deaf, dumb and hard of hearing then the leaders of churches. With the SWOT tool, the diagnosis revealed several weaknesses and threats against the deaf, dumb and hard of hearing. Phase II should allow us to organize a community mobilization workshop, a sign language training workshop, the recruitment of translators.

Association Governance

During this month of April, we have strengthened the capacities of 6 associations (CI, WACI, SETTO, MAXI, XWLA, XWELA) in governance, in associative life and facilitate the realization of the Annual Planning of each of its Associations. Bless the Lord! We must do the same for the other associations from here to there. Union in prayer.

Administrative responsibilities

We praise Lord who helped us to carry out the validation session of the quarterly reports January to March 2023 of all the departments of Wycliffe Benin followed by the validation of the Quarterly Planning April to June also of each department.

We bless the Lord for the support in the ministry. Thanks to his fidelity, we are still standing, me and my family. Glory to God.

Pray for Asael's health. He's been having seizures lately.

Pray for Shegoun's eye problems, my wife and myself

Pray for Asael who is due for surgery

Pray for ministry, that the Lord will continue to guide us and that we may see the fruits of ministry every day

Pray for Shegoun who is going to BAC C this school year. The results are not yet encouraging but we know that God is able.

Pray for the management of children especially adolescent girls

Pray for Hasana to do better in her department assessments at the University.

Pray for God to give us a new car for the mission. Indeed, we sold the HIGHLANDER acquired in July 2022, because we realized that it was a bad choice that we had made. Too much expense for repairs, etc.

Pray for the ALOBE project, the next workshops

Pray for the Northern Mobilization project (successful implementation and appropriation by the Nateni, M'Belmè, Biali language communities.
